As women, we are often doers, caretakers, and volunteers. It is difficult for us to stop, to take time for ourselves, to care for ourselves. Yet, it is essential for leading a conscious life, to prevent burn out and depletion. Allow this retreat to be a time for you to return to yourself, to reflect and integrate, to heal, to take a “Sacred Pause” and tend to what’s within your heart.
Our theme for our exploration for this retreat will be the sacred circle: mandala. In the morning, we will move through an all-levels vinyasa creating a mandala through movement. Following lunch, Amber will guide us through a visual arts exploration of the mandala. There will be plenty of time for community connection and quiet reflection as well as time for a walk in the glorious spring of the Cascades Mountains.
What To Expect From A Day-Long Spring Yoga Retreat at Canyon Wren, Leavenworth, WA
Join Joanna for a day-long Spring Yoga retreat at beautiful Canyon Wren in Leavenworth. We will enjoy a restful day in the peace and tranquility of Icicle Creek Center for the Arts. Our day will begin with a settling in, arriving and intention setting as well as time for community connection. From there, our day will include movement explorations both active and restorative, as well as meditation. All levels and abilities are welcome. There will be time for quiet reflection, a leisurely walk and journaling. Special guest teachers may be present to provide added depth or content (TBD). We will close our day with group reflections and, once again, time for community connection.
In addition, a portion of proceeds will be donated to a specific local non-profit (details TBD).
A catered lunch will be offered by Spreading Roots caterer, Sam Switzer (included in retreat pricing). You may bring a sack lunch from home, if you prefer.
Pricing
These retreats are offered on a sliding scale basis. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. You may register below and pay later, or pay at $50, $75 or $100 levels. Full payment is due one month before the retreat.
